Come hell or high water, the May 10 fully automated elections will push through. All of the parties can campaign no more and there' even a 24 hour liquor ban imposed to help with peace and order. The various political parties are also finished with their respective 'meeting de avance', drawing thousands of supporters for one last rally.
In this campaign, we've seen so much black propaganda and mudslinging. Ultimately, the choice is with every registered Filipino who will go out and vote on Monday. There are a lot of worries still with the PCOS voting machines, but at this point all we can really do is to pray and hope for the best.
To all Filipino readers of this post, please do vote wisely as our collective choice will dictate where the Philippines will go in the next 6 years.

ROBERT S. CABALU
Come out and cast our vote wisely and conscientiously. But never bet our future on them alone. Trust that our new electoral system will turn out good and reliable. In the end, whoever wins in this election has little impact in our life if we do claim our responsibility in making a better lives of our own.
Dan Mandap
Let us show the rest of the world that the Filipino has matured as a people. Tomorrow’s election is one of the most powerful tools by which we can reshape our future and redirect the course of our destiny as a people. Please vote. Please vote wisely.
