A Thank You

Although The Diplomat will still be updating with new features and blogs over the Christmas and New Year holidays, things will be slowing down a little on the site until the start of January as some of our team take a well-earned break.

I’d like to thank all our readers who have continued to support us, comment and contribute to our coverage of the Asia-Pacific. It’s less than 12 months since we re-launched The Diplomat with a new look site, but we’ve already seen some exciting changes, with more planned for 2011.

I’m also happy to share that popular US news aggregator Real Clear World selected The Diplomat as one of its five top sites for world news this year, alongside The Wall Street Journal, Foreign Policy, Der Spiegel and The National Interest. We’re delighted to be in such company, and we have our great team of correspondents, bloggers and contributors to thank for this.

I’m looking forward to welcoming readers back in the New Year, but in the meantime I hope you’ll still enjoy our holiday coverage.
