The Diplomat is seeking a part-time Research Assistant to join our team at Diplomat Risk Intelligence, our research and consulting unit.
Associated with the leading foreign affairs publication for the region and working directly with our Research Director, you will be helping to produce and promote client-driven research notes on a range of highly topical issues in the Indo-Pacific.
Specifically, your two major tasks will be to assist in the production of our research notes and assisting in media outreach to help promote our work.
We’re looking for someone with post-graduate qualifications in a field relevant to Indo-Pacific geopolitics. Candidates whose work experience includes research in this area will be favored. In addition, the successful candidate will also have native-level English language ability with superb writing skills, and the ability to work quickly and efficiently to deadline. Expertise in data collection and data visualization would be welcome.
This is part-time role, likely to involve two or three days a week.
The position entails remote work, and we are happy to consider candidates based anywhere in the world. Remuneration is negotiable. Further details will be provided on application.
