Hae Kyung Ahn

Prior to joining KEI, Haley worked as Head of the Protocol Office at the U.S. Embassy, Seoul. She also worked at the Embassy’s Public Affairs Office. In addition to her professional experience of two decades working at the U.S. Embassy, Seoul, she served as advisor and lecturer at the International Convention Management Center at Ewha Womans University and adjunct professor at Soongeui Women’s College in Seoul, Korea.

Haley has received various awards from U.S. government including the Meritorious Honor Award and the Foreign Service National (FSN) of the Year Award. She has also received a Merit Award from the Republic of Korea Minister of National Defense in 2016.

Haley holds a Ph.D. in Political Science from Ewha Womans University and a Master’s degree in International Studies from Yonsei University. She completed her undergraduate studies at Ewha Womans University.
