Jin Kai is currently a visiting scholar at Yale Law School Paul Tsai China Center, Yale University and a non-resident scholar at Sigur Center for Asian Studies, Elliott School of International Affairs, George Washington University.

Jin Kai received his Ph.D. in International Relations from the Graduate School of International Studies (GSIS), Yonsei University, South Korea. He is also a Research Fellow at Yonsei Institute for Sinology, Yonsei University, South Korea. He was an international communications and public relations officer for the UNESCO Asia-Pacific Center of Education for International Understanding.
