Shahadat Swadhin
Shahadat Swadhin is a Bangladeshi journalist and scholar, presently affiliated as a research scholar in the Department of International Relations at South Asian University, New Delhi.
He holds an MA in International Relations from the same institution and an academic background in anthropology from Jahangirnagar University, Dhaka. His research encompasses geopolitics, forced migration, and South Asian regionalism, with a particular focus on Bangladesh’s evolving geopolitical dynamics. He has authored over 15 peer-reviewed academic articles in prestigious journals and presented his research at more than six international conferences.
Shahadat contributes to prominent platforms, including The Diplomat, the LSE South Asia blog, The Strategist, The Daily Star, and The Daily Sun. With three years of field experience in journalism in Dhaka, he has published more than 100 columns in Bangladeshi national dailies.
