John Lee is director of East-West Futures, which provides research and commentary services in political and risk analysis.
Previously, he was a senior analyst at the Mercator Institute for China Studies in Berlin, and worked for Australia’s Department of Defence and Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. John holds Master’s degrees from the Australian National University and King’s College London, and is an admitted Australian legal practitioner. His work focuses on the global impacts of China’s digital technology industries and cyberspace governance system.
