Juni Kim is the Senior Manager for Operations and Technology at the Korea Economic Institute of America. He has written articles covering political and security issues affecting U.S.-Korea relations and developed KEI’s partnership with YouGov in publishing public polling on U.S. views of the U.S.-Korea relationship.
Prior to joining KEI, Kim worked for Qualtrics, an online software company, as a product analyst. His responsibilities included acting as the primary technical liaison between enterprise-level client managers and engineering staff, conducting trainings for both employees and clients, and assisting with staff development in the Utah, Ireland, and DC offices. Kim also interned with the Advocacy Center under the U.S. Commerce Department’s International Trade Administration and Benetech, a non-profit social enterprise organization.
Kim graduated Magna Cum Laude from Brigham Young University with a B.A. degree in Asian Studies and Korean and a minor in Business Management. He earned an M.A. degree in Security Policy Studies from George Washington University with specializations in transnational security and U.S. national security policy. Kim served a two-year church mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in South Korea from 2008-2010.
